BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH DOGTOWN KENNELS OF MISSOURI,  DOGTOWNPUPPIES.COM, OR DOGTOWNPUPS.COM

I created this web page to help any consumer considering buying a pet from DOGTOWN KENNELS OF MISSOURI,  DOGTOWNPUPPIES.COM, or DOGTOWNPUPS.COM.  The following information is based upon my own personal knowledge and experience in dealing with this breeder.

Their website boasts that they "believe in old fashioned qualtiy", "a quality experience in buying a pet", "strive for excellence", " we provide quality customer service" "everything has been done to provide you with a quality, healthy puppy".  They did not sell me a "quality pet" and their "customer service" is abominable.

I bought a pet from them and it has been sickly with constant diarrhea since the day I received it at 9 weeks old.  The pet is now 6 months old and to date, I've spent over $800.00 on vet bills.  Chris and Seleeah Hodge, the owners of Dogtown Kennels of Missouri, refused to take any responsibility in selling me a sick dog. Their response to this matter is that "I live in California and its the hot sun that is making my pet ill." How utterly ridiculous!

So beware if you’re considering doing business with them. I've learned over the last few months that there are other breeders out there to choose from that have excellent quality pets and customer service. Look around and you will find some really great breeders who care about the pets they sell and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to replace a pet or return your money if there were problems with the pet.  I wasn’t given that option(s) from DOGTOWN KENNELS OF MISSOURI.   They only wanted to keep my money.  Shame on Chris and Seleeah Hodge!!

This experience has been very hard on my family.  For those of you that have a sick dog you know how difficult it is to watch the dog suffer on a daily basis.
